friendly staff lovely breakfast fresh breakfast small room dated decor no fridge
the staff were very friendly! the breakfast was cooked especially for me. a lovely breakfast was served to me the following morning.
The room felt too small, it was too hot. The decor seemed very dated! no fridge was available, so i couldn't keep drinks cool. milk went off after half a day, and i couldn't make hot drinks unless i kept running to the shop for fresh milk

warm welcome needed amenities customer car park
the staff welcomed me warmly, and the room had the amenities i needed. the location is near several dining options, only a five-minute walk away. there is a customer car park on the premises, so parking was not a problem.
the mattress felt quite old, and i could feel every spring! the shower size is very small, much like one would find in a caravan. the bathroom mirror was positioned on the wall opposite the sink.

mixed feelings about this stay
small room missing fridge
the room felt very cramped and overheated. there was no fridge, i could not keep my drinks cold. milk spoiled quickly preventing me from making hot drinks unless i bought more. i never met the staff, they did not introduce themselves when i arrived.

A Good Stay!
genuine kindness freshly cooked breakfast warm conversation
The staff showed genuine kindness. Ess's daughter aided me in recovering my handbag. I had left it in a cousin's car without a way to contact her. She contacted the venue and ensured my bag returned. I also enjoyed conversation with the owners. Breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked.
The room had no heating controls so it was cold. I was not able to adjust the temperature. The main door stuck frequently.

quiet room quality food friendly staff outdoor area
The room was quiet despite the pub downstairs. I found the breakfast had good quality food and it was freshly cooked. The staff greeted me with a friendly welcome upon check-in. An outdoor area exists and has a selection of drinks at the bar.
